While getting my lunch (mmmm, tortilla soup) I stopped by the EB in the mall. They have a "pre-owned" Wizards and Warriors game in the bargain bin for $20. It has the CD, and a thin manual. Is that complete? Is the game any good? I've played them all, from Alkbeth to Ultima to Bard's Tale to ADOM to BGII. Is it going to draw me in?

It's complete. And yes, it is ADDICTIVE. However, if you're used to the BG2 interface, it may be a little tricky to learn the new interface (1st person rather than 3rd).
Hop over to the Wizards & Warriors forum and check out some of the posts there, especially those titled "Should I buy this game" and "Is this game any good"? It gives you more of an insight into what the game is about. Basically, if you've ever played any of the Wizardry, Might & Magic, or Bethesda "Elder Scrolls" games, you'll understand the basic interface for W&W. |

Moni is also a W&W "vet" and she can tell you about it as well!
Thanks, Lady Avalon, for your input, too! |

A TON of places here sell used games, and buy games as well. I've dumped off lame games and DVDs at a few places, and grabbed some treasures in the used section ! BTW, I'm enjoying W&W, so far. I did post a question in the forum, about the sound quality, if anyone here who plays it can help. ------------------ The RudeDawg Known in these Forgotten Realms as Perin LightEyes and my girlfriends, Pamila and Pfil |
