I've been reading through the manual, and in the section "ability-scores" i fouhnd something i dont get ...
It is the section where the stats for abilityscore modifiers are .. (strenght = 18 ,+1 to hit etc.) Now, with intelligence it says something about SPELL LEVEL ?? Apparently when your intelligence is 18, your spell-level is 9th, at 17 its 8th. What does this mean ?? That someone with 18 int. is able to cast 9th level spells at lvl 17 instead of 18, (thus being able to cast spells above the lvl cap) Info plz |

You need at least 18 INT to learn and cast level 9 spells, if you only have 17 INT, you can only cast up till level 8 spells.
