I've checked Interplay's FAQ:
"Q: What OS's are supported? A: Win95/98 are officially supported. There are no known issues running BG2 on WinME, Win2K,and Windows NT, however these are officially unsupported." But everytime I try to open a map view inside a cave/dungeon my entire computer freezes to where only a cold boot will work. Anyone else notice this problem? |

I run W2k but I dont experience that problem. HOwever I do get it freezing for no apparent reason 9 out of 10 times playing the dam thing. If I wasnt so addicted to it I would have given up a long time ago.

Win2000 here, no problems really except the sometimes...like 1 out of 20 times it just quits the game for no reason...it just disapears from the screen...usually at a crucial moment... . but it happens very rarely.

I also played both BG1 and 2 on WinME and had never any problems (Only in BG1 when I enter the undercity, the game sometimes throws me back on the desktop instead of playing the videosequence).
