hmm I seem to have a little problem with this.. when I pause the game I have to wait maybe 3 seconds to pause the game back again.. this is very annoying.. and what of the multiplayer choices should I pick? serial, IPX , TCP/IP ??

I've never had that problem.
I use TCP\IP ------------------ "The Martyr" (excerpt) There is sobbing of the strong, And a pall upon the land; But the People in their weeping Bare the iron hand: Beware the People weeping When they bare the iron hand. --Herman Melville (written after the assasination of President Abraham Lincoln) |

Why not transfer your Mp save game into the Sp save folder and play it as a Sp game? Unless you are Mping with other people?

Yep, that works. Just copy the save you want from the mpsave-folder and put it in the regular save-folder. Then start up the game as usual and load it as any other saved game in single player.
Don`t know if that helps with that funny pause problem you mentioned, but it`s worth a try. |

the problem is it has to braodcast the pause command to the other players. i assume serial is not implemented very efficiently - cos its obsolete and the others dont require much optimisation. tcp/ip is _the_ fastest option from all these, plus its installed on 90% plus of all computers these days. SP is always gonna be better tho. if nothing else heal on rest works.
