This is just a follow-up to the last post (DUAL CLASS) I have made a Human
female fighter and have just started the game. I want to switch her to a mage right away using the Dual Class option but it won't let me. I have played BG, BG II and Ice Wind Dale before but never with a dual-class character. Is there some trick to getting them to dual class status? Do I have to escape Irenicus's initial dungeon and get to Athkatla first? Her stats should allow me too; 14 str 16 con 18 dex 18 int 13 wis 8 cha HELP AGAIN!!! |

You need 15 in the Prime Requisite of your initial class... that's Str. for Fighter, and yours is only 14

Yep that'll be it, 15 in your primary stat and 17 in your second classes primary stat.
But it somehow didn't work for me when I had 17str and 18int and tried to dual class a kensai to a mage. (worked with 18 strength though) |
