Finger of Death is a Lvl 7 spell.
Oh, and do not underestimate the power of a Dispel Magic when your Mage is helpless. Stored in a Contingency of course. And Contingencies can store up till to a Lvl 6 spell. ------------------ If not a Sorcerer casting total oblivion, then a Paladin meting out justice. Damn you're RIGHT, come to think of it I don't use lvl 6 spells that much either. Hm...
...Death Fog is like Cloudkill Deluxe, but it also instantly kills all OUR pets; Contingency...I always have Stoneskin on in creepy neighborhoods [but yeah, storing Dispel Magic sounds like a plan]; I prefer lvl 2 Invis 'stead of Mislead; Chain Lightning seems weaker than Fireball; I love Earth Elementals but they "red-circle" 1 out of 3 times; Death Spell is useless against the really HIGH-level bastards, the ones I WANNA snuff; Disintegrate & Flesh-to-Stone loses the cool loot... then again I probably don't know how to use these to best advantage - seems like a lot of folks use 'em just fine... Prot/Energy looks nice; ditto Spell Deflection; Prot/Magic Weapons seems useful in an emergency; True Sight I'd use a lot; Pierce Magick once in a while; Tenser's is tailor-made for my bard... but--I'd say the most prized lvl 6 spell for me is Summon Nishruu - Hakeashar is stronger but it's lvl 7; both are swell mage-drainers if you protect them from enemy Fighters. |

Yah, for sure...I think I also read somewhere that 3 Lower Resistances stored in a Spell Trigger (lvl 8 sequencer) will turn Dragons into Magic Missile target practice. I really should try using Lower Resist. more...

Elemental Summoning suck. You are stunned for three rounds, and there is a chance you will just get a new enemy, for whom you don't recieve any exp.
Though, the cleric/druid elemental summoning is good. ------------------ We call him Bobby Corwen |
