AFAIK the spells she learns "while under the influence of alcohol", err make that potions of genius (  ) stay when the potion wears off. She wont loose the spell if you use a potion after the duration has run out my Aerie had way over her limit i always had bottled of mind focusing

stop wasting her precious spell slots learning spells you never use just for the xp from learning it. sorcerers know the value of selective knowledge.
