How do you put the keys in the pipes I keep getting zapped by lightning, I accidently managed to put the hand in the third pipe from the left but I cant seem to put any of the others in correctly.

You probably didn't read the text clues for each pipe before you tried to put the items in. You might want to drop the items in a corner then read the text on each pipe. They will give you clues on which items should go into which pipes. Then speak to Quallo to find out what the sequence should be. I can't quite remember it.

I don't actually *remember* it myself, but I am a hoarder, and never throw out anything. Hence I have a collection of sticky notes all over my desk with useful stuff like this noted down!!!! So here is the correct order:

Make sure you have all 4 items in your inventory, then click on the pipes in this order (pipes numbered from left to right, ie. Left hand pipe is pipe 1):

pipe 3
pipe 1
pipe 2
pipe 4

I really never throw anything away - my apartment is a complete dump!
But if was was more houseproud I wouldn't be able to help as much!!! That's a good enough excuse to abandon the housework if you ask me!

I never need a reason not to do the housework.

I know you get hit with lightning if you put items in wrong order. But how do you start over?

Not sure, Lady Avalon. I'm a quicksave junkie - I always hit Q before doing anything that looks slightly dangerous/important, so I can always go back to the saved game if it goes wrong. Which it does, frequently.
Press Q a LOT!

Lady Avalon.
Since I posted this puzzler I have since worked it out.

If you try one of the pipes and it glows and doesn't zap you that is the first correct pipe in the sequence o.k.
If the next pipe you click on zaps you, you have to reactivate the first one you did so you can carry on trying to work out the puzzle.
I hope that cleared it up for you.
