I read in some note that you can mix NPCs as much as you like, they will still accept any company albeit with a few grumpy comments. Well, as I played yesterday this turned out to be untrue, as Keldorn suddenly yelled at Viconia "I warned you! I've had enough of you!" and attacked her. Both left my party. The only way to keep them from killing each other was talking to one of them. I got asked whether I wanted him to join again, but if I said yes, they only thing happening was the two of them going after each other again. If I told them no, however, they reacted as any NPC, ie by going home (of course, this caused Keldorn to sheath his blade and walk home, having Viconia running after him all the way from d'Arnise keep). So I reloaded a game before the outburst, and havn't seen the problem since.
Anyone seen this as well? Is there any way around it or will the good guys eventually go nuts on some evil ones? |

Each of the evil NPCs has someone they have a fight with. For Viconia, it's Keldorn. For Edwin it's Minsc, and for Korgan it's Aerie (though Aerie doesn't fight; she simply leaves the party). I've had Edwin and Minsc in my party before and I've seen it happen. It's random. A great pain in the ass, though, which is why I replaced Minsc with Korgan eventually, as much as I like Minsc - Viconia's too good a cleric to drop for someone like Aerie.
