Ok guys ...
A little stupid question for you this one is... What the heck means that lore ?! So if you still bother to read this topic why not answer a poor guy.. I have never ever get in touch with any of those AD&D books, so .. i can't possibl know. Enlighten me please. Thank you. |

For the purpose of the game, lore is the likelihood that a character will recognize certain items without having to identify them. Mages and thieves increase in lore more quickly than other classes and therefore can recognize many of the magical items that they come across. Even at the later stages of the game, some items will require a lore value beyond what you can legitimately achieve, so you'll still have to identify those.
