This is kinda cool - in a multi game, import/export a mage to the protagonist, and cast find familiar.
Export/Import a fighter or someone else into the protagonist spot and put the mage back as one of the chars. The mage still has the familiar - he can put it down, but can't pick it up. Guess what? The protagonist can! Now your fighter has a familiar! Totally cool. And guess what also? The mage retains the HPs, the fighter gets HPs, and the familiar CHANGES to the alignment of the fighter! My Neutral MU got a rabbit (16 hps), it transformed into a cat (24 hps) for my Ranger/Cleric Dual-classed char. Also, as u import and export out of the protagonist spot, each char gets the innate abilities of the prot and retains them! This allows u to have multiple slayers, lol. |

The only drawback is if your non-mage puts the familiar down, it disappears! I thought I would have the coolest monk around, but I put down my ferret and he split

lol - haven't put mine down yet. Been carrying it for a while. Guess I'll keep it on me.
BTW - I'm using a monk this time through. Pretty neat. To bad the guants of crushing are at the end of chap 4 . |
