Holy smollie, I got a full inventory box of plot times from chapter one. Can I dump them or do I need them later?

Keep them. The game will remove what you don't need. As a rule of thumb, however, keep everything your henchmen give you.

If you drop/loose important items they can be found again in the glowing pool in the temple of tyr.

So, as I progress through chapters, the plot items should disappear if I don’t need them anymore…man that’s good. Thanks.

Most items disappear, yes, but I remember still having a key or two from chapter 1 at the end of the game.
