SPOLIER- Location of Wenev?

Hello,
In NWN I beet the part where I find some monsters heart and use it to close a portal- I needed the summoning key to get to the room, but I got it by killing a mage (I don't know his name)- once I closed the portal, my journal said I needed to simply take it to "Wanev"- but, I can't find him. Is he the guy I killed to get the key in the first place? Please help. Thanks!

Yep, he sure was. You can get the key from him without killing him (you beat him down until he gives up, if I remember right). He'll give you the key, and once you are done with your little side jaunt, then you speak to him again to end that quest.

Well, one failed quest, LOL- do you remeber what the reward was? Is there ANY way to get the reward?

The gem that the elf in the tavern needed to return to Evermeet, if I remember right (it's been a while). No other way to get it, unless it happens to be on the corpse.
