The SOU expansion is kind of like an "official" module with a ton of new content. Though SOU is set in the Forgotten Realms, The story is not related to the one in the original campaign from what I have read.

Of course what I really care the most about is the new content!

What is it about? and where in the Forgotten Realms is it? I think Waterdeep would be a good place.

Here is a link to the official site. If you have the current 1.28 patch for NWN there is a new start screen with an advertisment for the expansion. A while back Bioware said something in their forums to the effect that this new start screen may be where you launch SOU when it is available.

It's about Undrentide, some place in Faerun - I don't expect to complete it...I gave up the original mod after chapter 2 as it was crap IMHO lol.

The beauty, as many have said lies in the toolset and the ability to create your own stuff....compare some of the mods out there to the original campaign and there's no competetion. The fan created mods are amazing, some of the stuff they have done is fantastic.
