cant leave skull castle

i am in skull castle.finished all i needed to..when i hit the switch to go out ..it says loading please wait..then i hear a noise like when you have received an error and interent explorer kicks you off line..but what happens in this game is that when i hear that sound it wont load so i can leave the castle..i can continue to wander in the castle but cant leave..please help...thank you

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties. We'll try to help but you will need to tell us more about your computer to do so. We need to know things like OS, memory, Vid card, version of DirectX, etc. Generally problems like this end up being the result of your computer's hardware and software configuration. We've found solutions to most of these problems though sometimes it takes us a bit to work out what the problem is.

ALso check out Saz' techie help desk thread and see if you find any posts in there that have the same problems, the solution may already be in that thread.

Have you tried casting the call of home spell and see if this will take you back to Brimloch Roon?

The other thing to remember is that if you are playing the game without the patch, wearing the vampire ring can cause your game to crash. If this is the case, you have to install the patch and the game should be fine..
