I hope someone else has figured this out. I cannot swim
upstream in the dragon spire....basically, have to or you go nowhere.
I have tried swimming underwater, no go....jumping in while looking
somewhat up.....no go.....jumping toward the other side of the stream
and staying against wall....no go....just keep turning around and
going the other way, tried strafing, tried alternating holding the
right and left keys to stay straight.....Help please....!!
Thanks..

Welcome to the board, G-Ma!!!

Try swimming backwards! Odd but it does work! Or at the very least is a lot easier than trying to swim forward.

This bit is tricky and I managed to do it without the swimming backwards bit. You have to go upstream so that you can follow the current back to the area you really do want to get out. I would look up a bit and hold down the shift key while aiming for the far side. I think I threw in a few jumps (the zero key on the number pad) for good measure.

Swimming backwards is supposed to be a lot easier! Hope it works for you!!! Do let us know!!

Hi, Wyvern,

Thanks so much for the quick reply. I will try the backwards
swimming trick, and I will let you know how it works.
Believe me, I'm ready for a different theory...lol

Thanks again.

i didnt like that part at all. i guess it was supposed to be for a challenge, but all it was for me, was holding down the keys or button mashing, which hurts after a while.
