HI all
I have just been in skull castle and one of my characters was somehow hurt by a vampire, and started loosing hit points (game said something about blood wasting or similar thing). I just managed to get her back to the temple in town before she died. After she has been cured at the temple (rites) she is still loosing hit points when I leave the town, this I could cope with if it were possible to heal her... But the heal/great heal spell fizzeles whenever I cast it on her. Works on the other characters tho. by the way none of her items are cursed. How do I fix her up????? thanx .... |

she's a vampire! that's why heal spells dont work either re-load a previous save or keep the vampire. it does have some benefits but hopefully u have backup saves or else you stuck w/ it. she takes hp losses during the day but get combat bonuses during night. to heal her, bite into a red blooded victim. i read it has a chance to paralize your opponents. i havent had a vampire yet so i dont know much more. but still i'd re-load instead of keeping her that way.

You might also try equipping her with an amulet of life. It regenerates hit points, and might offset the vampiric draining.
Also, you might try blessing some things of regeneration. Can't hurt...

Hi Wizard!
My favorite solution to this particular problem is to reload the game and not let a character become a Vampire. There have been some players that have enjoyed playing the vampire - maybe you will be one of them. Wyv |

With vampirism which does indeed paralyse foes, i also got Vampire Breath ability which is like a coldbreath spell.
If you get low on hit points make sure you constantly bite with the Vamp and pass (space) the other player's moves so you can reach max hp ASAP. Having a Vamp die due to blood thirst is no bad thing. Just resurrect him and he appears back on a dozen hit points or so, then go find sy=ummat to scoff. Mentally Yours, Si |
