Feeling quite pleased with myself, got warlock to learn create portal, teleport and call to home but how do I best use them?
The manual says that you can cast only one portal per "scene",what does it mean by "scene"?
If I have two warlocks with spell can I have two portals in different scenes?
Is there a way to portal out of dungeons and back in again?

One portal per scene means just that - ie each area that the computer has to load seperately. Good to ceate one portal as you exit dragonspire. When you have a portal created you can teleport to it at any time (that is anytime that you are in the same geographical area. Call of Home transports you to the last town you visited.

Hi Lost sheep!!

One portal per scene -
One in the Valeia area, everything east of Ishad N'ha.
One west of Ishad N'ha, everything up to Brimloch Roon.
One west of Brimloch Roon.

Those are the 3 "areas" in which you can create portals. This includes the dungeons within those areas. Always watch to see that you get a successful Create Portal message when casting in dungeons. Some areas will not allow you to create a portal.

Call of home will always take you back to the last town you visited.

OK, just to clarify a few things. You can have up to 13 portals running at the same time in the game:

Areas
1- one between Valeia and Ishad N'Ha
2- one between Ishad N'Ha and Brimlooch
3- one West of Brimlooch

Dungeons
4- one in the Crypt
5- one in the Serpent Temple
6- one in Shurugeon Castle
7- one in the Boogres Cave
8- one in the Stouts Mine
9- one in the Dragon Spire
10- one in Skull Castle
11- one in Anephas' Shrine
12- one in Collasium
13- one in Cet's Pyramid

As soon as you cast a second portal in any of those regions (for exemple one inside the entrance of the Serpent Temple and then you cast another one in the Naga's room) your portal is moved to the most recent place where you casted the spell.

Hope this clarifies things for you

You are always teleporting back to the one that is in your bit of scenery - you can't portal to a different area - Call of home is the only spell that will do that.

Blimey! Does Call of Home work indoors? I don't think I've ever had it work successfully for me, and man, could it have been useful...

Call of home will work indoor so long as you have not entered a dungeon! If you didn't flick the switch, you're good to go
