I have a Question?!!! does the monk quest can be reset????
coz' i played it and ask the temple for the monk quest, i played for about 1 hour, save and exit. reload then i played again for about 1 1/2 hour and never completed the quest ( i read it here that 2 days in W&W time is 2 hours in real time) or i have to continue to play for 2 hours non-stop to complete the monk quest?!!!! what is the estimated time for me to complete the monk quest???? This quest can be a real pain.
If during the quest time you went back into town to find out if you have completed it yet and you hadn't, you reset the quest clock to zero. Best bet on this one is to take the quest and then go off an do a lot of different things but not checking on your completion status. Saving the game and reloading it shouldn't make any difference - only going into town to find out if you've finished does. Some players have opted for putting their players in a safe spot - like the top of the town gates and just letting the game run overnight. I'm sure someone else will have some good advice too! Wyv |

I guess the monk quest is the hardest in changing roles(except for the 3!! Ass., Valk., and Zen.)I can finish other quest roles in just 30 mins. i guess i'll have to be more patient. i really love to end my priest to monk!!!
A LOT OF THANKS FOR THE HELP WYV!!! -Curian The Paladin hehehe!!!

I'm a firm believer of the leave them somewhere safe method. Since time doesn't really matter overall in the game, there's nothing to getting your party, or just your monk-to-be, to the top of the city gates, leave them/him up there and go off and do something else... groceries, sleep, whatever takes your fancy. Actually the easiest quest on that front.

this might be slightly off topic, but is there anything to lose when going from priest to monk? i'm not upto level 7 in either spirit or vine, but is that such a big deal? the monk does gain spirit magic so i should be able to progress in it at regular pace, right?
by the way, what exactly is the monk quest anyhow? i thought that i heard that it consists of staying out of town for a certain amount of time?
