Rest with Pondmuk untill you get him spiders. Do not keep bracers(you'll soon know what I'm talking about). Try casting web and sleep and such tactical spells.

Concentrate all your attack on the drummer first. Stopping him hitting the drums is so important. Cast webs/entangle/grease and use summons is the way to go once the drummer is dead. That should slow down the attacks so you can concentrate on one enemy at a time.

Innormal mode, a nice Chromatic Orb has a decent chance of stunning an orc, thus making it a good option for trying to "stun" the drummer, so that you can kill him.

Also, whenever possible, an even better strategy for the drums is get into position to attack a drum without any enemy watching. Once a drum is destroyed, the drummer is just another orc or goblin.

heh, first off, the drums wont summon anyone if you attack them. look up there positions on a walkthrough and then go for the drums (there are ways to get there too without disturbing sentient creatures). Watch out for the bridges in that section, which are trapped. The caves just suck (HARD battle) just save right there and try different strategies until you win (dont forget to save then ) Don't forget that luck of the roll plays a small aspect of the game too.
