So, my monk just reached lvl 12 and her stunning attacks are actually working! Prior to now, the enemy never seemed to fail their saving throw. Now, I am being more selective and tending to try to stun characters that I think have low fortitude saves, but I don't think that's enough: I imagine the roll the enemy has to get to make the save must have increased with my Monk's level -- is that right?

If so, she's going to be a monster with the Quivering Palm.

I have the patch from BioWare. I just figure her DC went up so that monsters have to roll a higher save now. No?

Could also just be coincidence.

I'm joking, yes, monks should get more powerfull as they level.

Aiming for monsters with low fortitude saves help a lot also. They grow up in fortitude very slowly, just like mages do.

Monks are definitely much more lethal at the higher levels. Also, try using Malison-type spells (that lower saving throws) before using attacks like stunning palm. It works wonders.
