I saw many places on the map like easthaven and lonelywood.What are they for?

I've never managed to get any farther than the goblin fortress, but if you never venture there ingame, I'd say just as a display of Ten-Towns.

Those two locations are for "local color" only. You can't visit them in the game.

It also opens some doors for building mods, or an expansion if they chose to do so. If you wanted to use those locations to build your mod you don't have to worry about placement. ie. Is Easthaven over there or there??
