Well, since the prologue, we have been warned that we might be facing dragons...
Well I really did not expect to have two kicking my ass at the same time! As I was exiting the map after Fell wood... I went into this cave and I had one white dragon coming at me and out of no where a second one came from behind and admire my sorc's butt...I mean kick her butt.... Drogons in BG1 & 2 was rare...is it very common in IWD2?

I never seen you guys posting any on this... was it really that easy for you guys? The will o wisp was cake walk...battle room needs some thinking.... but this was pure slaughter.....

yeah you were right the dragons are nothing compared to BG's dragons.
They were easy. I guess I let their reputation got the better of me

Don't worry...later on, you'll meet a *real* dragon. Very real

Gotta remember the type of dragon your dealing with too.
The AD&D white dragon is usually the smallest and dumbest of the dragon breed, plus with dragons generally age = strength.
The difference between a hatchling/juvenile and an ancient wyrm is as big as the difference between a orc and a Fire giant!

I enjoyed the red and black dragons in BG2. they were fun.

This engagement can happen in a couple of ways, depending on what happens when you enter the area.

If you're "nice" to the people at the start of the area, they'll send you into an ambush outside the cave by 1 white dragon and the little ones and the other white dragon stays in the cave.

OR

If you whack the people at the start of the area, you will enter the cave and get attacked by the entire family.

Either way, it's a challenge.

Err not sure what you mean by being nice to the people....
Their wasn't any ppl around that area.
I bluff the babarians though. Didn't kill them, my regret heard that there was some cool stuff on them.

Nah, only the leader has something, and that's an Azure Rod. Does extra damage against evil critters as I recall. Don't think I ever used it; everyone has pretty good stuff already by that time.
