Mine is Severed Hand. Lots of fights, lots of good items (a lot of them as random treasures) and a storyline about rise and fall of Hand of the Seldarine

Dragon's Eye.
It is the place where your party starts to kick butt instead of running around like a headless chicken most of the time. Of course... this is taking into consideration that I play on Heart of Fury Mode. The foes you meet are varied and exotic. They tend to outnumber you, giving you a tense feeling, and a sense of euphoric satisfaction when you succeed in laying down the smackdown. To top it all off, the end-boss is a worthy foe, neither too weak nor too overpowered. |

My favourit part is kresselacks tomb, th fight on the 2nd level wit that skeletal mage is pretty tough espesially cos ur chars r at low level (and kreselack is a legend!). 1 of the last battles wit hordes of undead is pretty cool 2.

Worm's Tooth, not because the fights are challenging, but just because the place is so cool, or the Gloomfrost Glacier in HoW.

I am just finishing up Dorn's Deep. The lich fight is memorable; but I'd have to say that the most consistently challenging and fun area was Dragon's Eye: Every level was great! Every level forced inovation in tactics. Ahhh... I guess that's it, I think I finally put my finger on why it was so fun: It forced **ME** to grow as a tactician, as well as advancing my party characters.
What's a party, without a song? Bards ROCK! Party on!! |
