Im nearly finishing the standard IWD areas..... i want to go to HoW areas just before the fial battle with poquelin........ i just want to know... besides my usual weapons and stuff, is there anything special I should take with me to the how areas?

Warning ZFR: You must return to Kulduhar to get to HOW. That means once you place badges and go up staircase, no more Kulduhar! Return to Kulduhar after placing badges but before going up stairs.

As far as taking stuff with you, I would recommend stocking up once you arrive. You won't be thrown directly into any battles in which you will need equipment. Save your gold for when you get there.

when you start playing the expansion you will find there are many magical items to buy (and steal) I think you should either take alot of money (or a good thief) There is an especially good mage how has gone slightly mad, He is on the isle where you find hjollder. He sells alot of good made equipment!!
