In the Inn in Loneleywood in HOW, I slept with Ambere Dunn, the blonde, and she offered to sleep with me if I take her south; I did for the fun of it, and when I woke up again I lost " Annehmen " ( I'm German, so I got German version of IWD), I think it means Reputation, but, does the loss of this hurt me in anyway? I re-loaded and didn't do it again, but I was just wondering...
Thanks!

Reputation is especially important for paladins and rangers. If it drops too low these characters will 'fall' from their special status and become regular fighters. I do not believe the game provides any way for a fallen paladin or ranger to regain their former status and abilities.

No, there is no in-game, non-cheating way to regain fallen status.

Silly me--all this time and I've never even realized that spending the night with her was even possible!

You can always boost reputation if it starts to slide by donating money to the local church of your choice.

Then I should thank my lucky stars that belle hasn't seen what I've been doing over in Fallout 2....
