Israel ranks 22nd on UN index measuring nations' well-being.
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/452023.html And i have thought that we would end in the 30+ place.

We're still fifth!
1. Norway 2. Sweden 3. Australia 4. Canada 5. Netherlands Might be wrong about the middle three and their exact places. EDIT: just seen it! [ 07-15-2004, 11:34 AM: Message edited by: JrKASperov ]

Wait, on second thought, I say Belgium should have been first. No other country treats beer the way they do!

Australia only 3rd
J/k ... not bad eh! But to the point of your post Baron. That is (A) an amazing result given all the bad publicity of Israel’s troubles. Or (B) A sad result for the rest of the world. I suspect option A. Actually Black Baron It must be frustrating for those in Israel only getting negative or bad news stories written about them when after all something must be going right to be as high as that.

Canada fourth? Whee! But I can vouch that Canada is indeed a great place to live. Perhaps I better go travelling more.

Canada's forth, but I'm acually a little sad considering that Canada was ranked in 1st place a few years ago. Still, that's better than last year when Canada was in 8th place.
