Just a general update... There's a new version of Spybot S&D available (version 1.3 to be specific). New features and a new interface (but still familiar), and more protection. If I was smarter, I would have remembered the URL, but it's late, so Google away.

Strange. I told my Spybot to search for updates and it did not find any. When did this update come out? BTW there is also a new reference file for Adaware.

This update came out 17 May. And I had the same experience -- updating Spybot from the software did not find the new version. I suspect the internal update only searches for data files, not engine files.
I reinstalled the newer version and it easily found and overwrote the older version.

Ahhhh Ive just posted an explanation of this in a new thread, It involves Adaware too! (sorry I should read all the posts before I post)
Updates are no longer available on your old spyware.... You have to uninstall and download a fresh version. [img]graemlins/heee.gif[/img]
