Horus - Egyptian Sky God

Ok, I now Brownies are in the old AD&D games, which I have had some experience with. Even so, I have yet to meet what they call a Brownie. What exactly are these creatures? I know they are diminuitive in size, and are said to be similar to leprechauns, but that's all i know. Any help for all you PnP veterans would be greatly appreciated.

Have you ever seen the movie Willow? It's a George Lucas film. There are brownies in that movie. Could be a pretty accurate portrayal.
