The population of that part of Jupiter just reached into the industrial age and therefore started polluting…
Well seriously my guess would be something like; the spot is an enormous cloud with a very high density, like you know from earth (they cause rain), so it is a cloud on the verge(sp?) of going from gaseous form to liquid form. Caused by a slight change in temperature or pressure… Just a guess I got no evidence what so ever [img]smile.gif[/img] But in my head it sounds reasonable...
