I was wondering, Can you use the same 134a that goes in cars also in a Home AC unit? (If you had the conversion valve)?
Just wondering... I am going to test the refrigerant pressure today. Thanks! |

I beleive that R-22 refrigerant is used in most home A/C units. When I had mine charged a couple of years ago, R-22 was about 75-80% cheaper per pound than R-12.
