Default Um....

I think I finally got everything functioning in my design, but I'm getting this error message whenever I try to heal at the temple in my demo. It still heals the character and I can continue, but I just wanted to let you guys know....
And I'm getting some screen distortion when I end the demo. (Yes, it's dc, not my monitor.)

I can view bmp files if I download them, but every time I download one of these it crashes firefox. If you could use jpg or png, that would be great. (Plus, they are a lot smaller in file size.)

As for the error- this is not a bug, per se. It is telling you that there is an error and I think it's referring to your character with the 25 97 strength. As I mentioned in another post, that is supposed to be 25. GPDL is the engine that deals with all the scripts, including the ones in your special items and what they do to the characters.

The second screenshot - I don't know if this is a distortion or not. I need some more information. I can see that the image is big picture sized, but I need to know what format it is, and what you're settings are for the event. This might not be a distortion, but might be a full-blown bug. If you could upload screenshots of each part of the event (each window that upoens up when you are adding the picture) I should be able to tell you more and help with fixing it.
Also, what version of DC are you using? And, did you start making your design in the version you are currently using?

I get the temple spell errors in my DC too. I just cite it out as a "bug" in the documentation.

Interesting. I do not get that error. (Or any error when I use the temple features...)

Okay, sorry. This was my first time uploading screenshots. I'll use a different format next time. I didn't know.
You could be right, I haven't checked the other threads I posted, I checked this one first just in case the error was serious. Yes, I know about the 25 max Strength but it was my first attempt at the process and I couldn't figure out how to change...perchantile strength...? Is that what it's called?
(Anyway, I might redo the character.)
I'm going to test the demo with a party made in the design, not my test party. See if that helps.
It happened when I was ending the game, the last message, before the game shut down. It's a .PNG and it works fine in my intro. I redid it, maybe that'll help. I don't know exactly what you want because that was the first, and only, screen it distorted.
I'm using 914, is that current?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Which event did you use? Which graphics size did you choose?

It looks like a big pic showing up in a sprite setting (the sprite radial button was chosen to load the big pic). That's all I can make out from the screenshot.

To show the picture? Text Statment. To end the the game, Utilities, of course. I think I'm using 800x600. Would my actual screen resolution have anything to do with it? My monitor's set to 1024x768 or whatever.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, I redid the event and -made sure- the event was set to "big picture." Hopefully that was the problem and I fixed, I haven't had a chance to test it however.
And I started the project on 912 I believe.

800x600? I would guess 640x480 based on the pic size. (I spend way too much time with DC.)
Monitor resolution should have no effect on DC, as long as it is as high or higher than the game resolution.

Let me know if this works correctly or if we need to figure something out for you.
