I have found the sword the "Daystar"
And I read on a site that minsc was real good with it
now I have minsc in my party but he´s only good with two handed sword and long bow
Should I let him have the sword anyway or should I wait until he level up and I can make him good on long sword?

Hmmmm? Anybody can use Daystar, and use it equally well. Elves will have a +1 bonus to THACO and damage using it though, since it is a Longsword. As Minsc is most assurely a Human, this does not apply to him.

The main reason why people have it is because of the Sunray that you can cast once a day from it. Whip it out to cast Sunray and vapourise all those pesky undead foes, then change to a different weapon to clean up.

The Daystar is a good Longsword, but not the best. I suggest using it on undead, but in all other battles, there are better Longswords to use.

Daystar, Sword of flame+1 and namarra+2
wich of these is the best?

If you have the cash, consider getting the Blade of Roses +3 from Bernard in the Copper Coronet. He will be selling it after you settle the gladiator slaves issue in there.
