Dictionary.com

What is the deal! Now they are charging people to look up words!! Now I'll have to find another online dictionary, or spend twice as long using a paperback; now I'm never going to be able to finish my homework.. [img]graemlins/1disgust.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/crying.gif[/img]

do it the old-fashioned way: look it up the Websters Dictionary paperback [img]smile.gif[/img] I keep mine by my monitor,

www.yourdictionary.com Free and very good. Also has a translator function akin to Babelfish's.

If you're not sure how the word is to be pronounced they also have .Wav files on the site for each word, that's really cool. Plus they have search functions for various 'Nyms.

i've always used dictionary.com, so does it only want to charge with difficult words? i gives me no problems witht he ones i check. all i do is check spelling for playing literati oh yahoo games
