I refer back to him whenever someone blames the current administration for crap that actually started during the previous administration...if people would lay the blame where it belonged or better yet, let those "old issues" die, then no one would have to refer back to the clinton administration which brought us, nuclear reactors to north korea, let Bin Laden go free, sold state secrets to China, bombed asprin facotries to diver attention from semen on a dress and best of all in my book, used multi-million dollar cruise missles to bomb deserted wooden shacks and old tents.

Sorry...but you asked

Most of the Hot topics of today actually got a riip roarin start in the 90's....enron, world com, the current nuclear threat posed by North Korea...

People refer back to him because there are only so many living presidents to use as a frame of reference - or total presidents for that matter.

There are other sides to MagiK's rant, of course. Republican duck-and-weave dance become cute once you've seen it 2000 times. Of course, no current problems trace back to any Republican presidents. And, I will point out the President Bush has explicitly stated that Clinton acted appropriately in his negotiations with N. Korea.

I won't address all of the Republican myths/propoganda MagiK packed into an amazingly small amount of space (because he and I have gone back-and-forth on them plenty over the past), but I just want to remind us all that it *is* a biased opinion on Clinton from a source we know to be biased against Clinton. Sorry, MagiK, just keeping you honest.

MagiK - hehe I'm still wondering if selling state secrets actually falls under treason. Isn't that like a death penalty thing?

Course I'm still boggled at his decision on launching of Cruise missiles in Afghanistan. A pretty silly move on his part.

Miss Stormymystic Ma'am (assumtion made from your profile) As one southerner to another, I've learned to embrace the jokes, in fact I try to perpetuate them when ever posible it lulls the jokesters into a false sense of security and superiority. Then I pounce like Gen. Lee at Chancelersville, and send the "Yankees" packing.

Ms. Stormy Despite what my friend TL said, my post was not just propaganda, there is quite a bit of factual material therein.

and my reasoning for refering to him (clinton) is exactly as I stated

As for why he got elected in the first place....We had a really good discussion at the place I was working back then....the people and even I thought that what he was promising the people in his campaign were exactly what we needed....However, I did not believe that he actually ment anything he said....and really neither did my friend who voted for him...but the overwhelming reply to the issue was "We know he doesn't mean what he is saying, but if he accomplishes just half of what he promised it will be a good thing. I cannot explain his reelection, except that it was probaly due to lack of strong competition.

TL, just remember, I am not a repug nor a dem. I are a Libertarian if anything...However I am also a staunch conservative....fiscally and politically and a life style liberal I love labels
