Dude, your style of posting should be held up as a role model for all others to follow in this forum, given the divisive nature of the topics. You are not afraid to state your opinion, but you do so in a non-inflammatory, non-provocative way, and you can argue other people's points without personalizing your posts. You have remained steadfast to your beliefs and your opinion yet in doing so I don't think I have once seen you flame or succumb to flamebaiting from others. It's what respecting someone else's right to have an opinion is all about. You also know when to let things go, without compromising your viewpoint, yet allowing the others a graceful exit by respecting their opinion and agreeing to disagree. I have yet to see you make a disparaging personal comment about someone else's opinion. Your self-control is inspiring!

You must have been who Voltaire had in mind when he made the statement: "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

I dont post here often in the War Forum, for the very reason I get angry when I perceive someone has said something I dont believe in or know to be factually wrong. Ronn has done an excellent job of walking that line, I wish I could.

I agree totally! I disagree with Ronn-Bman's views on this war, but he is a member I respect more than any other I have met in here. He also expresses his views clearly and gives reasons for them which I understand and appreciate even if I don't agree. He doesn't go in for emotional rants (thanks be!), and has a talent for calming situations.

Ziroc should adopt him as a Moderator in this forum!
