I have just finished the final battle in Baldur's Gate and killed Sarevok. It went through the movie and the credits. It also said that the game would be saved in the final-save slot. I tried to load the game afterward to continue with the expansion pack. I found the load files exactly as they were beforehand. Someone please tell me what I did wrong or what I should do.

When you say that you found the files, exactly as they were before-hand, what do you mean? The final save (As it should work...) is one save away from the final battle. Do you have that? If so, then it is ok...that is the "final save". Maybe I did not understand what you meant, but this is what I think you meant.

What I mean is how can I keep playing after I've beaten the game? After you beat the game it says that the game will be saved in the final-save slot if I remember correctly. After I beat the game shouldn't I be able to pick up Sarevok's armor and go to Ulgoth's Beard to do the expansion pack?

Ok, I think I understand.
To play the expansion, install it.Then load it up as normal. Click on load game, and load what is called "Final Save".It wont take you to the final save place,but it will start the new chapter in Ulgoth's Beard.It will only do this if you have TOTSC installed. Does that work? ------------------

The intention of the expansion pack is not to have an adventure after the final battle, but to have more to do in the game, before the end (killing Sarevok). Ok, I think I understand, but I have one more question. I installed TOTSC along with Baldur's Gate but haven't played any of the expansion pack yet. When I click on final-save it doesn't take me to Ulgoth's Beard so how do I get there? Can I just navigate my party through the map to get there?

hmm...I believe I accessed the town by taking a side road at the bridge that leads you to Baulders Gate. Somebody that has played it more recently will surely give you more accurate instruction.

The manual for ToTSC lied. You're not transported to Ulgoth's Beard, you have to hoof it back out from the Undercity from right before entering Sarevok's hiding place, back up thru the maze, and out to Baldurs Gate city proper. Leave town and head east, you can't miss it. From there you get to access Durlag's Keep, Ice Isle, and the Werewolf/wolfwere isle

Once you have completed Ice Isle,Werewolf Island and Durlags Keep have u finished TOTSC?
