I'm primarily a console gamer and prefer playing Morrowind on the X-box(though I own the PC version too) and hope to do the same for Oblivion. Whether or not Oblivon has the constructor set for 360 could dictate my desicion on whether or not to buy 360. Does anyone know if us console gamers are going to be denied another constructor set?

The Idea has been talked over to possably allow a group of user made MODs to be added to the console version of Oblivion besause, there were alot of requests for it on the offical forums from the original X-Box version and from future owners of X-Box 360 to be able to use the home made mods. I don't see why it cant be done unless there is alot of difference from 360 tech and PC tech codeing of the game. They say the 360 is using the ATI microprocessor or a verison of it for its graphics engine and an external 20GB hard drive so they should be able to find a way to add the user made mods.

I've heard a rumour that the Construction Set might be made available for download for he XBox 360, but again, that's just a rumour.
If you're interrested in mods then go for the PC version. You're guaranteed a CS and mods that way.

Looks like hold off on 360 then, half the fun of TES is the mods.

I'm getting the PC version but I'm really thinking about buying the X-Box 360 also. If I do I will get Oblivion for it as well as a few other new games comming out like Call of Duty 2 which I'll buy for both PC and the 360.
