Should i worry about joining a house and doing a lot of quests before i become a vampire? or should i just become a vampire? i'm level 54 and i've never really felt the need to join a house, i've just been exploring with little questing...i was thinking about telvanni, any ideas?

you can join a house any time and you can become a vampire before you get the corpus disease Main Quest.
Telvanni for mage ( evil ), Redoran for Fighter ( honor ), Hlaalu for Thief ( middle ). choose your poison! |

oh yeah, how will being in a house effect vampire quests and the likes? and vice versa, how will being a vampire effect house quests?

okay, it won't effect anything. however, when you become a vampire. DO NOT talk to anyone ( except the people in mage guild ) or everybody will attack you.

I'd advise you try to become a vampire now... with every level your resistance to disease goes up, and it will take longer to get infected. Believe me, it'quite annoying when you have to wait for 5 minutes with 3 vampires hitting you because your saving throws are too good...

no need for you to wait for them to hit you, just kill one and keep on pressing the body so that you'll get the vampire disease.

Oh, didn't know that one... I guess I wasted my time then.
Well, the advice about levels is still valid, though... disease resistance should work in the same way with bodies and living.

yes, get a weakness to common disease spell. preferbably with 100% weakness.
