Every time I try the vampire bite, it says (Out of Range). I'm so close I could be riding the monster! What crap! The only way I can heal points is by using the life drain spell or going to the temple in town.
Sigh... |

This happened to my Vampire when she didn't have any weapon equipped. Try a couple of weapon combinations and see what works.
