I have killed off those pesky halflings in the planar sphere but they did not drop that oh-so-wonderful bounty that included the Gauntlets of Ogre Power......why hath thou forsaken me?!?

It shows all stuff on the ground maybe you just overlooked it ------------------  OMG I have no Arms Wait I don't have a body either But i DO have a Desert Eagle

I killed the Shadow Dragon with a blast from a wand of frost. He stood there frozen, upright with wings expanded, with a "Dead" description when i put the mouse over him. I couldn't retreive anything from his corpse, so i hit him. He exploded into may chunks, and i couldn't get his scales
 so i had to reload and fight him again. Dulouz. Quote:

The Wand of Frost WILL destroy magic items - I remember this from playing BG1. As to the missing gauntlets, have you completed the entire quest? I have found that occasionally some monsters are not where I expect them to be; in one game, for example, I went into Waukeen's Promenade and found all of the circus animals outside of their cages and in another game...
S L I G H T S P O I L E R there's a bone golem in the Shade Lord quest that was in an entirely different section of the dungeon than where it had been the last few times I had played. |

One more possibility is that you used a nishruu or hakaeshar. They "eat" magic items.

I had to kill two harashkars or something for the Hidden One once ...
but during the fight 1 of them disapeared .. ROFL .guess what .. he was hiding behind the door (seriously) i opened the door into his face, and you couldnt see his texture untill you closed it again .. spent 5 hours on that, i nvr cast som much true sights an dispel magics in my life :*( |
