ive beat bg a few times but every time im in the drow city and i go to do the quest on the southeast platform with the beholder and im waiting there with phere i sit and sit and sit and nothing happens is there some trigger im not hitting ?

Did you talk to her. If you do not talk to her it will not trigger the quest. You can not just go there and wait. you need to initiate a dialogue with her

ya i talked to her near the entrance then i tried to talk to her again at the plat form and it said at the bottom she has nothing to say to me
