Hi sorry about off topic post but need help picking out a video card for my compaq 256 megs ram 700 mhz. Hoping for better graphics on Dungeon Siege and Castle Wolf etc...Thanks for any help John

Geforce 2mx is reliable for most current games, If you want something that your not going to need to upgrade though for a while get a geforce 3 or if you have the money Geforce 4. Im about to upgrade my card from a Geforce 2mx ehich has served me well, it dosen't have any problems runing any games yet, I just want to be able to turn details up more on a few game it has to run on low detail and get a higher framerate for my fps games.

Go with the standard.
Geforce 4 ti 4400 for about 200 bucks. Get this and when you get you next computer you can swap out the cheap card and keep this. |

Oh, and do NOT get the Geforce 4mx.
It is basically a hyped up geforce 2 |
