if I'm not mistaking the fighter will max out early, as soon as he is maxed out on close combat, sword, powerstrike and so on, not much more to gain is there? Was thinking about a class change, but will loose Berserk unless I use Bloodlust. But to what? Valkyrie for the cheat death, not worth IMHO. Lord for the dual bonus maybe? (still not worth it IMHO). Samurai for lightning strike, no we are starting to get serious here, lightnig strike with bloodlust, but armour, any decent armour for a samurai? Any good advise? Fighter is lizardman (mage/bishop not a alternative). Rest of party: 2 Bishops (Wiz/Alch & Div/Psi), Monk, Ranger, Gadgeteer + Vi Domina(trix) and C3PO/R2D2.

Well multi class in Wiz8 isn't that interesting. I personnaly never use Fighter because I love to much hybrid, also more difficult to build.
You can always try another weapon skill or skills. Just start to max other skill making even more godish!

Perhaps start putting some points into dual wield and get a decent off hand weapon, any suggestion? Like to have a fighter berserking for to give some massive damage. As well as reflect my own personallity

I think the best way to dual with the fighter class is to start with a hybrid and then later in the game, once you have the spells you want, switch over to fighter. Did this with my own Lizardwoman Valk. Only real advantage to being a fighter is the beserk attack option. My way will get you a much better character later in the game, will do less damage in the early going though. Guess if you have someone you can give bloodlust to though who is a hybrid and then switch them later with a better sword you'd always be better than a fighter.
