As I understand the changing of characters, yes your new creation will be able to play music. Try it on a seperate save game. This way if it fails you can reload the original and plan something new.

Hi John!

Yes, she can. It seems to be a good idea to change a bard after level 18, since then he/she use all instruments in the game, and you just loose some communication skill bonus... And, you cannot use the fine bard-only items (of which I didn't find many yet). So after all, I'm unsure what to do with my bard after level 18 (now: level 15), but I really consider changing, but don't know to what, because I definitely can't use a frontline fighter, so a valkyrie for a nice polearm might be a good idea, I found & stored quite some nice ones, but I don't want to use cursed items, because I need the ranged combat power... Maybe a ranger? Well, my senses are down, and I don't want to put points there, because I need to work on vitality for stamina and speed.

Ok, enough told about my not-yet-made decision, I would be grateful if you'd let me know how it worked out, or about YOUR thoughts about this...

Never forget your towel, cheers
Philipp
