I just plain hate it, she is what? Thirving in chaos and heartbreaks and mistrust and anger for her ratings? i mean yeah it is sorta cool having two fight on tv, but it looks so... scripted and corny! one thing, i don't like the fact that she bashes on her audience... or whatever, coz some people are sensitive... grrrr

As long as its not happening to them, People love to see conflict and hurt and families argueing etc, that explains the popluarity of this kind of thing. The people who go on these shows just want their 15 mins of fame. They know the risks, to go on one of these shows you have to be a fool. Besides a lot of these prorgrams use actors anyway.

That show is a great laugh. You're thinking of Jerry Springer Bahamut, Jenny Jones is laid back and doesn't allow fighting. Some of the things the people say on that show are hilarious, and I quote:

"Bitch, you got more pounds than my car got miles!" and

ROTFL

I remember a show with a male gay couple and a transvestite. One of the men was cheating on the other with the quite obese transvestite. The other man got angry and he and the transvestite started fighting. Their shared boyfriend announced he wanted to stay with the transvestite, who then yelled at the skinny other man:
"Why would he want the steak when he can have the whole cow baby??"

LOL
I never watch TV except sometimes when we're having an fast easy dinner, and that's usually when these shows are on.

Have you ever noticed that at least once a week they have a "her boobs are too big and she dresses too slutty" show?

I couldn't resist sharing this one...

Last year at Christmas I was in NYC with my girlfriend who was in the US for the first time. I returned to the hotel with breakfast one morning to find her literally laughing so hard she is crying. I looked at the TV where she was watching Jerry Springer. The show was all about surprises (in other words, one part of a couple ends up finding out that their wife/husband/significant other used to be of the opposite sex, etc.).

The best part about it is that my girlfriend doesn't speak a word of English! Jerry Springer is truly the international language of trash television.

Tell me about it...imagine how I feel when she starts telling people about the time she had in NYC, and this gets mentioned before seeing Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.

OK, usually its not mentioned before Broadway... but it does always makes her list of "Things I saw/did while in America".
