Hi!
Maybe there's someone on this board that could help me out with a minor but irritating problem. First, the game runs fine in 1024 with my GeForce GTS when bumblin'  around in the woods, but occasionally when entering buildings in the cities it crashes to desktop. And I actually have to reboot the comp. to get the game workin' again.I'm running a Athlon 1200, ABIT KT7A PC133 MB, 256 MB RAM (cas 2 latency), DX8a with slowed down graphic acceleration. Anyone with similar problems that've found a solution? //Jazzid |

Hi Jazzid!!
DirectX 8 might be your problem. I have been able to run the game with DX8 without difficulty but that does seem to cause problems on other machines. Best to cross post to Saz' Techie Help Desk thread (if you haven't already) and let the more technical gurus assist! Within that thread there is also some information about DX8.
