xp cap remover

Hey, do someone have the xp cap remover file for BG1?
I was looking just for that file XCAP.2da, like the one you copy to your files in BG2.

A query re the XP cap patch. I've downloaded it, but how do I actually install it in the game (bear with me I'm a newbie). I have a 7th lvl fighter I want to dual class to a cleric, but just realised I won't be able to get to 8th lvl w/out the XP cap removed. If I import this character to BG2 will it corrupt/crash the game? If not will anything happen? Thanx

I guess that your character will be rolled back to where it was, when it reached the XP cap. In other words: You loose your extra levels and have to dual class again if you dual-classed after you 'crossed' the XP cap limit.

You copy the file over into the main BG folder AFAIK (C:\Program Files\Black Isle\etc.)

Yes, the maximum level on BG is 7th or 9th with TotSC. For a fighter this will be 8th level, so you may have a 1st level cleric. Sorry Pug, as I've never used an XPcap remover to find out.
