I was considering having my Priest ascend to Zenmaster, being that he is the only character I have that has not ascended into a better role and I was wondering what would be the requirement for me to obtain the ability to train in 2nd Weapon Skill. (Brimloch Roon Armory does not offer any new quests since prior members completed them all). Will he be stuck with just one weapon for the rest of the game, as short as it is going to be?
Thanks In Advance!

Moni, all you need is to get the trait "Doublestrike" which you can get at the Bushi Dojo at Level 2. Also, you can do the Toad Village Quest to go up in level in the Warriors Guild, if you don't mind tracking all the way back to Valeia. You can also do the "Deliver the Invitation" to the Stout Guard in the Ishad N'Ha Warrior's guild; it repeats as well.

I thought it was level 4, in the Warrior and Dojo Guilds, for both Double Strike and Second Weapon.

Also make sure you advance whichever weapon skill you will use in the second hand position.

Thanks, Mark! I'd forgotten which level it was. The skill you need to add to after you get the "Doublestrike" trait is "2nd weapon."

Thanks guys!
So I can get the trait & skill by leveling up with the role, not through guilds! That had me worried!
I have as a second weapon a blessed Side Hammer+1 at present even though it is unusable until I level up & the Talon's Fang for future use (training up in dagger at every available opportunity).
I bought back a jewel ring that I had sold sometime back & got it blessed to regen @+3 so far, I figure by the time I acquire the Doublestrike Trait & 2nd Weapon Skill, I can bless it up some more (it also has a +3 to hit on it too) so that using the cursed dagger wil do me no lasting harm. : )
Level 2, Level 4...whichever will work as I don't intend to finish the game until I have him up to level 12 or better!
Re-set Spawn rate to Frequent, LOL!
I can't wait to go work at the progression of my character but FIRST I have to get the W&W Theme that you made, Sazerac!

I am confused about improving the Second Weapon skill. I had originally spent points advancing my dagger skill to have a better chance of hitting with me second weapon - skull dagger. It wasn't helping much, but I was still only at level 3.

Later I had another character using a second weapon requiring sword skill (wakazashi?). Sword was already her primary weapon skill at 6. Second strikes were still rare events.

I spent lots of points building up the Second Weapon skill to level 4 and now get double strikes regularly.

Does anybody know if I need to build up dagger skill when I am using it as a second weapon and have built up the second weapon category? Do I need to build up both?

On a related note - I have found an excellent combination to deal Mega damage.

Double Strike to get the second weapon skill,
Backstab to get the double damage ability,
then cast Invisibility (moon level 5) to make backstab almost automatic.

My NINJA's are able to deal out 50 - 80 points of damage in a single attack using enchanted weapons.

Of course some monsters don't see you and you may have to chase them around when invisible, but usually they wander aimlessly nearby. It seems they still spawn frequently too!

Second weapon skill increases the chance to make a second attack (also based on the level of your opponent)
weapon skill in the type of your second weapon (like dagger) increases the chance your second attack hits.
