Happy New Years and THANKS

You can't get past the Bronze Firebeast blocking the entrance to the Dragon Spire unless at least one of your people has Dragon Armor (which is 5.6 AC Plate Mail with 80% fire protection).

Killing and plundering is (almost) always an option

Do you refer to Raskallion and the King's Treasury? You've gotta kill Raskallion to become an Assassin, and the King doesn't seem to mind if you steal all his stuff -- I stood there right in front of him, packing like 50 lbs of his gold bars, and he merrily made me Dragon Armour without any complaints...

I was more impressed by the fact that I could walk past all the king's guards from one treasure room to another and not one did anything. Very strange but certainly no cause to complain!

Howdy,

O.K. offed the King out of frustration and took out his guards (after inviting them to join guild....guess that's what they get for refusing.) Got armor and gold, and yes, had killed the Stout way down in the pits already, and now my Ninja is an Assassin..yippie. Nothing bad has happened to me as yet, so I'm guessing it's O.K. to off the Thor Mini-me.

Cheers and Thanks,

Yeah, took all that I think. I had actually reached the side entrace from deep within the mines and got back to the King that way through another treasure room, got the key from him after wasting him and his lame gaurds, and got into the other room with the two pairs of armor. Honestly, how much of an asset to the cause of rightousness could this wimp be?

Off to the Dragon today for the first time.....anything I should be extremely wary or prepared for?

Cheers!!

I pretty much did the same thing - i hope u used the key to the extra sets of dragon armor from the kings little private locked room. If not - u may want to go back and plunder that room
